Palm Collective is introducing Palm Proofs often referred to simply as “Proofs”. They are digital tokens representing valuable contributions within the Palm Collective. They act as digital badges or tokens that recognize and reward individuals for their meaningful participation, such as creating content, supporting projects, or engaging in governance decisions. Proofs can carry various privileges or voting power within the community, reflecting the contributor’s impact.

Creating a Membership Proof

This tutorial will guide you through the process of creating and collecting a new Membership Proof for your Community within the Palm Collective.

Step 1: Access the Admin Section

Navigate to the Home page and click the menu icon (the two lines) at the top left corner.

From the expanded menu, select ‘Admin’ to access the Admin section.

Step 2: Choose Your Community

Ensure you have already created a Community. If not, refer to the guide on ‘How to Create a Community’.

In the Admin console, click on the Community you wish to manage.

Step 3: Navigate to Proofs

Within your Community’s management options, expand the view by clicking ‘Proofs’.

The gallery will display Membership and Community Proofs separately. You can also view all Proofs created by the Community.

Step 4: Create a New Proof

Click on ‘Create Proof’ located at the top of the page.

Fill in the required information in the form:

• Upload an image for the Proof.
• Name your Proof and provide a description.

Select if it’s a Membership or a Community Proof from the dropdown menu.

Optional fields include airdropping the Proof, enter the addresses of the Palm ID’s to whom you want to airdrop the Membership Proof separated by commas “,”

Setting the maximum available Proofs, or you can leave “0” to make it an open edition.

And/or reserving Proof eligibility for specific Palm ID addresses, by entering them separated by commas “,” and preventing unregistered addressesaddressed to join your community.

Step 5: Submit and Confirm

Once all details are filled in, click ‘Create Proof’.

A pop-up will confirm the successful creation of your Proof after a few seconds.

Step 6: Claim Your Proof

Return to the admin panel by clicking ‘Back to admin panel’.

Expand the view by selecting ‘Proofs’.

Locate your newly created Proof and click on it to claim.

A new page will display additional details about the Proof. Select ‘Claim Proof’ to collect it.

Step 7: Verify and Share

After claiming it, the Proof will be added to your Palm-ID.

Spread the word about your new Proof within the Palm Collective community to encourage others to join and create their own.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully created and claimed a Membership Proof for your Community. Those that hold this Proof are part of your Community and will be able to participate in Community Votes and Open Calls within your Community.
