As part of its ongoing commitment to decentralization, the Palm Network is transitioning to a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) chain using Polygon CDK. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Palm Network’s roadmap to becoming a zkEVM chain by the end of Q1 2024.
ConsenSys played a crucial role by minting the genesis block and providing essential network support.
HENI successfully planned and promoted one of the most notable NFT drops, “The Currency” by Damien Hirst, showcasing the potential of the Palm Network.
Formerly known as Palm NFT Studio, Candy Digital built large-scale NFT minting and marketplace platforms. This initiative led to the minting of close to 7 million NFTs and the onboarding of over 1.7 million wallets. Noteworthy collaborations include MLB and DC Comics.

As we take the next step towards decentralization, the Palm network migrates to a POS chain using Polygon CDK.
The migration to Polygon CDK from Besu required custom code to support both chains, completing the first step puts Palm network on the fast path to become a Polygon zkEVM chain by end of Q1 2024.
