From March 11th to March 22nd, the Call for Digital Art: Egalitarian Utopia received a total of 45* remarkable entries. After careful consideration, our esteemed curators comprised of Empress Trash (@Empresstrash), Dawnia AKA (@letsglitchit), Obscura (@ObscuraDAO) and UnknownCollector (@unknowncollector) handpicked the top 23 submissions that participated in the event Palm Network pre-NFTNYC party on April 1st in NYC.
For the general voting, all those who managed to upload their works participated (not only those selected by the curators). The voting took place through the Palm Collective platform for all those with a Palm ID + Palm Collective Membership Proof, from March 26th to 28th.
The voting system employed the mechanics of quadratic voting, offering each person 100 votes to allocate.
The chosen art was awarded a grant of $1,000 and alsowas showcased on physical screens at LUME Studios in NYC during the Palm IRL Event.
Thank you to everyone who participated. Stay tuned for more opportunities!
*We received 8 messages from individuals who stated they submitted their entries before 4 PM EST. After verifying, we confirmed their submissions were uploaded, but a platform glitch occurred. The issue was identified and being resolved. Consequently, their works were still considered for curator review, but they couldn’t participate in the community-wide voting due to the platform access problem. We appreciate their efforts to submit their work.
